After obtaining his baccalauréat, Maël completed a bachelor's degree in STAPS adapted physical activities in Rodez, Aveyron. He moved to Paris in 2021 to study for a master's degree in adapted physical activities at the Université Paris Cité, and joined ESF Paris on a work placement in October 2021. 

Since then, he has stayed with us as a volunteer, because of the atmosphere, the players, the coaches, and so on. This year, he is only available on Tuesdays for training sessions, but next year, depending on his availability, he hopes to be more present, especially on Saturdays for matches.

In addition, he is currently a sports educator on Wednesday afternoons in a school in the 17th arrondissement, where he runs football sessions with children aged between 6 and 11.
